I spent a year cooking in this city and most of my life diligently eating in it. In New York, my “B+ food, A+ time” preference comes through the most. Los Angeles still probably has the best food in America, but New York has the best restaurants. A night out at the right place feels special in a way no other city can match. Unfortunately, 95% of the spots on your Resy app are certainly not the right place.
